Sealed Identity: consent-first, sealed on-prem, revealed only on audited approval.
Hostel Attendance & Management — On the Cameras You Already Own
True attendance at entry and exit. Complete in/out logs. Signed leave management. Real-time warden and parent notifications. The audit trail a UGC inquiry asks for — without behavioural surveillance, without rip-and-replace, without a new app for students to install.
What Vizenta Hostel does
True attendance at every entry and exit
Each student is verified against their enrolled record as they walk through the hostel entry. No card to forget. No fingerprint kiosk to queue at. No mobile app to download. The same cameras that already cover the entry continue to cover the entry.
Complete in/out logs
The system maintains a real-time, queryable record of which students are inside the hostel at any moment — searchable by name, room, course, and time window. The record is the audit trail an inquiry committee asks for and most institutions cannot produce in 48 hours.
Signed leave management
Outgoing students register expected return time and destination through the warden's office. Vizenta tracks the leave window, flags overdue returns, and produces a signed record for every leave event.
Real-time warden notifications
The chief warden sees who's in, who's out, who's overdue, and who's just attempted entry — on a single live dashboard. Alerts on unrecognised faces at the entry. Alerts on overdue leave returns. Alerts on extended absences.
Real-time parent notifications
Configurable per institution: parents receive entry alerts, exit alerts, leave-start and leave-end notifications, and overdue-return alerts. Parent confidence — built into the daily operating rhythm, not a once-a-semester report.
Reports for the warden, registrar, and inquiry officer
Daily occupancy reports. Weekly leave-pattern reports. Per-student presence histories for any time window. Signed exports ready for UGC inquiries, NAAC SSR evidence, or NMC / AICTE compliance reviews.
Built for the UGC anti-ragging notification — without behavioural surveillance
The June 2025 UGC anti-ragging notification names CCTV at hostel key locations as a required mechanism. What an inquiry actually asks for, when an incident is reported, is the audit trail: who was inside the hostel in the incident window, who left and returned, who was there but should not have been.
Vizenta Hostel produces that audit trail automatically — from the cameras you already installed for the UGC notification. It does NOT classify ragging behaviour, monitor for fighting, or attempt to infer harassment from video. Those remain decisions for the institution's anti-ragging cell, with Vizenta providing the verifiable identity and presence record that supports the investigation.
